Game Update 26/05/25

This update features Nex sneak peek, new Rare items, an Automated rare item claiming system, a new Mystery box, new Clan system improvements, Falador Party Room and the usual misc fixes and improvements!

Nex

The wait is almost over. Nex will be ready to battle once beta testing is done!
We want to make sure this boss is a real challenge and end-game content, not just have it spawn in the wilderness with one combat style like some of our competitors have done.

Nex is classed as a semi-dangerous death area. Any items lost on death can be reclaimed from the chest in the lobby area outside.

Rare Item Selector

New tiers of items have been added alongside the existing 10k orange items.
The new item selector can be opened either using the command ‘customs’ or from the bottom of the panels tab.

Only one item per tier may be claimed and once you have chosen, the item cannot be changed. So pick wisely!

 Royal Mystery box

A new mystery box has dropped, the Royal box!

This box has a total of 10 new unique items ready to be obtained.

There is a higher chance than ever before of obtaining a rare from this box vs previous boxes. Are you feeling lucky? 

New clan updates

Clan coffer
Each clan will now have access to their own coffer. This is a storage for platinum tokens, which holds up to 50m tokens (50b gp).
The owner of the clan can set which clan rank can add and remove platinum tokens from the coffer.
Potentially, in the future this could be expanded into a general item storage system, almost like a clan bank that specific ranks would have access to.

Clan chat bans
While the kick feature is good for most situations, granting a temporary 60 minute ban, for more annoying users or repeat offenders, you will now be able to permanently ban a player from entering the clan chat.
This is useful for clans which might be open instead of a rank requirement to join.
You can either right click ban the player from the clan chat names list, or go to the ban settings interface and add their name there.

Clan logs
This quality of life feature tracks every permission change or tokens removed / added to the clan's coffer and is only available to be viewed by the owner of the clan.

Falador Party Room

After lots of suggestions over the past couple of months about PkWild getting some sort of drop party feature, we're pleased to announce that we will now have a fully functioning party room!

This will be a great way for players to host giveaways, as well as staff-hosted events.

Any item worth under 1k gp will be removed from the chest to prevent flooding with spawnables.

If the total chest value is worth at least 50m, a global announcement will tell everyone that a drop party is starting.

To get there, use the command ‘partyroom’.

Other updates:

- Ironmen are now not able to use market trader
- Easter event removed
- Each tournament will be a fixed type, with a fixed reward. Check ::events to see the changes
- Tournament rewards tweaked, OSRS gp tournaments now give 20M to the winner, and all other tournaments now give a 100 gem bond
- Well of goodwill fixed
- Fix for dwarf cannon getting lost during server update
- Granite maul special attack distance when frozen fixed
- Ancient godsword effect heal amount fixed
- Staff members can now reset account pins for players who have forgotten it
- Amulet of blood fury prayer bonus fixed
- Mythical max cape added, confirmation added for creating max cape variants
- Achievement difficulties tweaked, some skilling achievements have had their difficulties lowered
- More areas added to presets allowed areas. These include clan wars safe area, mage bank and the grand tree seed pod teleport area
- Vetion added to skeleton wildy task
- Divine rune pouch preset saving added
- Max hit dummy now shows twisted bow max hit
- Coin caskets now have an open all option as a second click
- Automated giving of tokhaar kal once a player reaches ultimate rank
- Locator orb item added to shops
- Bounty hunter change: Players will now only be assigned a target up to level 5 wilderness. This means that bounty hunter will not work above level 5
- Fixed a bug with zulrah teleport
- Gambler 55x2 now only works on a Saturday
- Some punishments have been re-worked
